The new Spring/Summer issue of St. Louis Bride magazine is finally out
and if you haven’t seen it yet make sure you take a look at it.

We were also lucky enough to have a wedding of ours featured in their
“Real Weddings” section for the DeJohn/Bean wedding

We also a had another number of our images selected for the magazine,
which included the shoes shot from Rick & Amy’s wedding,

the hands shot from Jennifer & Shawn’s wedding

and the ad from The Kemp Auto Museum was from Erin & Bryan’s wedding.

Congratulations to both Laurie & Craig on their wonderful wedding. What a way to
end our 2009 wedding season! Again these two were just amazing and so much fun
to work with. We started out at St. Elizabeth of Hungary and ended at the Randall Art Gallery,
with a few other downtown stops in between. Congratulations again and we can’t wait to start
designing their album!

Well let me just start out by saying that I wish all weddings could run as smoothly as this one. Kim and Nick were so
easy to work with and they couldn’t have been any more pleasant. It also didn’t hurt that Simply Elegant Events did an
amazing job coordinating the day.
We began the day at The Immacolata Church and finished at Moulin and we were able to get some wonderful images
in between at Tower Grove Park with the 30 minutes of sunlight that we had.

We had so much fun with Erin & James all day long. What a gorgeous day
it turned out to be, even with the rain! We started out in Belleville, IL at the
gorgeous home of Dr. & Mrs Dugan and finished at the Lindell Pavillion.
Stay tuned for more photos and keep an eye out for the rainbow that made
an appearance following their ceremony!

So Kurtis and I have been pushing the envelope here at Nordmann Photography.
In an attempt to get our creative juices flowing and to offer our bride and grooms
a little something different, we have gone old school and starting shooting film again along
with digital. We broke out one very old (Yashica) camera and one very plastic (Holga) camera
and have been shooting about two rolls per wedding and have been enjoying this so much I don’t
see us stopping anytime soon.
