This fall I joined a bowling league with 2 friends I used to bowl with almost 20 years ago. I was never a good bowler and know I will never be good. Actually, I have the lowest average in the league. I am proud though that my average rose this past week from 99 to a whopping 104. The oldest bowler is 84 and her average is higher than mine. It doesn’t bother me that I am so bad. I go to have fun talking and catching up with my friends. It is not all about winning – just about enjoying oneself. I’m glad my bowling mates agree.
