ESPN Magazine

March 8th, 2010

I had the wonderful opportunity to assist the photographer Dan Winters a few weeks ago.
Dan was in town to photograph Albert Pujols for the cover of ESPN the magazine.
Not only did I get a chance to work with one of the best editorial photographers working today, I also got to be Albert’s stand in.
Here are some outtakes of me from the day and you can see the actual cover image HERE.

Nordmann Photography just received word from Apple that our very own iPhone app -iNordmann – is now available to download for free.
If you love your iPhone, like I know you do, you are in for a treat!

It has lots of cool features including a DailyPic which showcases a different client photo every day. If your photo pops up, you can download
it right to your IPhone/ITouch and use it as your wallpaper. It also keeps you connected to all of the latest and greatest news going on with
the studio and allows you to set up appointments right from the palm of your hand. Also available are photography tips and the
opportunity to follow us on Facebook. We will also be offering specials that will ONLY be available to those who have the app so go to the
ITunes store or App Store on your phone and download it now! The first 5 people to download this app will get something special.

If you want to see your child pictured on the DailyPic for the front of the app, leave me a comment with your name and child’s name and I
will add your child and email you with the exact date the image will be featured. If you have a special date to request that your image
appears for a birthday, anniversary or just a special day…Just leave a comment or email and let me know.

Award Winner!!!!!

January 21st, 2010

We are excited to announce that Nordmann Photography has been chosen to receive the Bride’s Choice Awards™ 2010.
This award recognizes the top 5 percent of local wedding professionals from the WeddingWire Network who demonstrate
excellence in quality, service and professionalism.

The Bride’s Choice Awards™ are determined exclusively by recent newlyweds (brides and grooms) through extensive
surveys and reviews, which means our past clients have spoken on our behalf and selected us to receive this honor.
We are so proud of Paul Nordmann and Kurtis Hall- our wedding photographers. As most of you know Lisa retired from
wedding photography and for Paul and Kurtis (who absolutely rock at wedding photography) to be recognized by the brides
and grooms is quite an honor. We are so proud of them .

Cocoons

January 18th, 2010

My sister, Rose Camastro Pritchett, is a professional artist living with her husband, David, in Chicago. They both teach at Columbia College in Chicago. They came for a visit
this past weekend and I had the opportunity to photograph her latest work. These cocoons are the result of performance art pieces in which a person is wrapped and sewn
into transparent cloth thus creating a cocoon. Within time the individual is cut out and released from the cocoon. This is a metaphor for change and transition. The resulting
cocoons have been reworked into its final stage. The performance art was performed in Germany, China, and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.

Help Portrait

December 31st, 2009

I had the amazing opportunity to be a part of a special group of about 30 photographers, stylists, retouchers and other
volunteers who all came together for one day in early December to donate our time to a number of different charities.
Help Portrait was started by international advertising photographer Jeremy Cowart. “Help Portrait is a movement of
photographers who are using their time, equipment and expertise to give back to those who are less fortunate”.
I was one of only 8 photographers and I think we all got more out of this experience than we could have ever expected.
Stay tuned for our behind the scenes video of the day.

Laurie & Craig • Wedding 12.5.09

December 31st, 2009

Congratulations to both Laurie & Craig on their wonderful wedding. What a way to
end our 2009 wedding season! Again these two were just amazing and so much fun
to work with. We started out at St. Elizabeth of Hungary and ended at the Randall Art Gallery,
with a few other downtown stops in between. Congratulations again and we can’t wait to start
designing their album!
