Every year I run a contest to see who will grace the cover of our Senior Magazine. The contest is run through social media – mainly Facebook and Instagram. This year Marisa Nicastro was our winner with the most “likes” on Facebook and Instagram. Marisa is a senior at Cor Jesu academy. The fun thing is that Marisa’s sister, Francesca, was our cover girl in 2013. And her cousin Carina Marion was the 1st runner up in 2014 and graced the back cover our our magazine. The Nicastro family is just adorable and so much fun to be around. We have a lot in common – especially our Italian heritage.
Marisa was just adorable on her model shoot. She was photographed in my new studio. The image that is on our front cover was photographed with natural light with the main light coming through our warehouse garage door. Her laughter in this images brings so much happiness to me. Her outfit was spot on and the hat added a lot of dimension to the photograph. Here is the link to Marisa’s other images from her model session.Read More »

I have fallen in love. My dear friend and fellow photographer Susan Jackson shared this great lighting technique. I loved it when she showed me her images. I tried this new lighting with a few of my Class of 2015 spokesMODELS. Wearing a white shirt really adds to the dimension of the images. I started out with Alex Martin from Webster Groves High School. I think she looks amazing.
I then continued with Hope DeRouse also from Webster Groves High School. What a great look Hope has.
And I finished up the day with Kate Hanson from MICDS. A true model look.
I am in love with this session. I think this will be our most popular session for the Class of 2015.Read More »

I am looking for current juniors (Class of 2015) who want to get their senior photos taken by us. You need to love our photography. We want spokesMODELS that love us and want to shout out about us. We are looking for very involved current juniors.
A good example is Jazmyn Ferguson from MICDS. She is a cheerleader at MICDS. She loves our photography and talked about us constantly to her friends. She referred us 5 senior clients in 2013. This year she has sent us 2 Class of 2015 spokesMODELS and I know there will be more to come.
We are looking for current juniors who are involved in several activities in their school. Such as Lonita Benson from Webster Groves High School. Lonita is a cheerleader and involved in DECA. Lonita already brought us 3 spokesMODELS for the Class of 2015.
Every spokesMODEL will get a FREE “model” session. It most likely will be at a location of my choosing. I am always looking for new locations to photograph. I also am always looking for different opportunities here at the studio. We also have another favorite location to photograph at and that is “The Bluffs”. Morgan Medelberg from MICDS chose “The Bluffs” location for her FREE Senior Session. Morgan sent us one Class of 2015 spokesMODEL so far.
I love it when our spokesMODELS love their model session images and their senior session images. Carina Marino was a Rising Star model for us. She came to us right after her Sophomore year and I did a mini model shoot with her. Our Rising Stars get to try us out with no commitment and get FREE social media images. Carina then became a Class of 2014 spokesMODEL. Carina always talked about us to her friends and sent us 3 senior clients. Carina chose some amazing images from her Rising Star Session, Model Session and Senior Session for her final products.
So if you are not afraid of being in front of a camera, are involved in school activities and want to shout out about Nordmann Photography. Please fill out our on-line application. I am in the process of choosing our Class of 2015 spokesMODELS now.
