I have to brag about one of my Class of 2011 spokesMODELS. Courtnie Henson has done a tremendous job in our spokesMODEL program. She earned almost $2,000 worth of product, $400 in cash and her mom, as part of our mom’s club, earned $150 in SPA treatments at Eclips Salon in Shrewsbury. Courtnie recommended us to all of her friends and brought us a lot us business. As part of our spokesMODEL program we reward our spokesMODELS for all that they do for us. But more than what she did for us, I want to say that Courtnie is a wonderful, kind, and a very motivated senior. She is involved in her school, Marquette High School and is in their musical Hairspray this week. Courtnie is the first to help out others. I feel very honored that Courtnie Henson was a Class of 2011 spokesMODEL. I know that Courtnie has a great following and will do great in anything that she does. Here are a few of her images from her senior session.
The front cover of any magazine is extremely important. But the back cover also has quite a bit of importance.
So why did I choose the image for the back cover. I save that very important spot for the spokesMODEL
that at the time our magazine goes to print has participated the most in the spokesMODEL program.
Last year that coveted spot went to Jackie Nelson from Whitfield. This year the spot went to
Courtnie Henson who has been responsible for more than 5 models joining our class of 2011 spokesMODEL program.
She has participated in all the extra shoots. She has bragged about us on facebook and to all of her friends.
And she is continually inviting her friends to be photographed by us. So a big salute to Courtnie Henson from
Marquette High School for being our coveted back cover model.
I have been asked many times how I choose the image for our senior magazine. I have done it many different ways in years past. Last year I ran a contest and the winner was Marisa Muma from MICDS. I have always chosen an image that I felt represents my work the best. This year I had a very difficult choice. I loved several images from each of our 48 spokesMODELS. How could I possibly choose from all the amazing images. So I narrowed them down to my favorites and presented the images to a college art marketing class. I speak every semester at Columbia College in Chicago on marketing your art. I presented several images to these young artists and they chose this image of Jenee Rideaux from John Burroughs. Words that were chosen were edgy and creative. Those are my two favorite words to describe my work. So congratulations Jenee on being the face of Nordmann Photography Magazine for the Class of 2011.
I can’t tell you how excited and proud of all of our Class of 2011 spokesMODELS. They were all terrific to photograph
and very supportive of our spokesMODEL program. To view each slideshows click on their name and you will view the coolest
slideshows of the greatest Class of 2011 very soon to be seniors.
A big welcome to our Class of 2011 spokesMODELS. These 45 amazing juniors are representing
Nordmann Photography for our Class of 2011 senior photography. I have had so much fun photographing
each and everyone of these wonderful juniors. They are offering 1/2 off your session to be photographed
in June and July. You can find their model cards on our facebook fan page.
I had a great time photographing Poonam from MICDS. We chose our Streets of Soulard session for her “model” session.
We had a great time and a beautiful day.
I had so much fun photographing Jaiden B. from O’Fallon Township High School.
I photographed her in my studio and then ended the shoot at a nearby park for some cool guard images.
Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy her slide show after the images . Our fusion of video and still photography has been a great success.
Hannah Heard from John Burroughs is one of our Class of 2011 spokes models. I had so much fun photographing her.
I tried some new techniques I learned at SPA when I attended their conference this January.
I saw a brilliant photographer Brian Dimint.
He used such simple lighting it was ridiculous but his images turned out amazing.
Here are a few of my images that I loved from Hannah’s model shoot influenced by Brian.
Here is Hannah’s video with 20 of my favorite images and live video. “Fusion” is our newest senior session we will be offering this year.
Alyssa Bockhold came to her model session with a lot of energy.
Alyssa is a junior at O’Fallon Township in Illinois. It is always fun to
have a model that is willing to cross the bridge. It was a very cold day
for her shoot so we stayed indoors at the Jewel Box in Forest Park.
This is a great new look for the Class of 2011. I am calling it our City Grunge.

I am very late in posting Bee Patel’s, from Parkway South, model photos.
We photographed Bee in early November in Forest Park. Bee had many different looks and great outfits.
