Getting a family together for a portrait can sometimes be stressful. Her relaxed approach to family portraiture will certainly make this time a memorable experience.
Clothing – Clothing can make our break your heirloom portrait. All members of the family should coordinate in style and color. Small prints can coordinate very well with solid colors. Keep everyone’s sleeve lengths the same, as bare arms will detract from the portrait. Capri pants are very fashionable but tend to cut the leg off at an odd angle in a seated position. Long pants are more suitable. Keep in mind that coordinating outfits is more pleasing than matching outfits. Shoes should reflect and complete your outfit. Keep in mind that white socks will definitely stick out.
Infants
Tiny Toes, sleepy yawns, wispy hair and the spirited cry are the integral part of the infant photography session. This is the fastest growing time your child’s life that when documented will be cherished for years to come.
Full tummies are a must for a happy infant. Don’t worry. We have saved plenty of time for feedings before and during your session.
Children
The fast pace of a child should not be stifled by a traditional looking at the camera smiley photo. We believe that children should be left to themselves in the world they dominate. Lisa continually interacts with her small subjects to get the most natural looks and expressions. Bribing a child is not useful at a session. But we always promise a trip to our Lisa’s Secret Drawer for a treat after a fun filled photo session.

And you can incorporate our popular outdoor sets in your session. We have an indoor studio perfect for a maternity, newborn, or children session. Small families can also choose for an indoor session.
