Nordmann Photography is a unique company specializing in life photography. The photography life starts with weddings and continues with pregnancy, infancy, children, and families. Lisa Nordmann, the Master photographer at Nordmann Photography, started her career in 1992 photographing high school sporting events. “Photographing a fast-paced sporting event was extremely invigorating and challenging. I only got one chance to capture that decisive moment.” Lisa’s love for sports photography led to the beginning of Nordmann Photography in 1994. Upon many requests, Lisa started to photograph weddings and portraits. The business grew rapidly and in 1998, her oldest son Paul took over the sports division, www.nordmannsports.com, giving Lisa the time and energy to dedicate herself to weddings and portraiture. Her husband John joined the business in 2003, and Kevin, their youngest son, joined in 2004. Timothy, their middle son, has photographed weddings and sporting events since the beginning of Nordmann Photography and has since branched out into filmmaking www.nordmannproductions.com “It is truly so much fun to work with my family on a daily basis. My family is the #1 importance in my life and to be with them every day is very rewarding.” Lisa’s award winning photos have been featured in St. Louis Bride, The Knot, St. Louis Best Bridal, and St. Louis Bride and Groom. She has also been the main photographer for three fashion shoots for St. Louis Best Bridal. “I view the world through my lens. As an artist I see things in a certain way that enables me to capture the spirit of each individual I photograph. When I see that I have captured the heart and soul of my subject, I know I have succeeded as an artist. " |

Paul Nordmann has been part of the family business for over ten years. He is the lead wedding photographer and the oldest son of Lisa and John. Paul has a unique style that was developed through his many years as a sports photographer. Paul recently graduated from the Hallmark Institute of Photography -- number one in his class of 220 students! He also received the prestigious Mamiya Award of Excellence given to the student with the best overall portfolio. Paul's laid-back personality, unobtrusive manner, and artistic eye are a true benefit to any wedding. |

Kurtis Hall has been photographing for Nordmann Photography for over two years and has quickly become one of the family. Kurtis has a hunger for photography and a thirst for the unusual. He has a keen sense of lighting that keeps his photography on the cutting edge. He has been a true asset to Nordmann Photography and has brought a new vision to our wedding photography. Kurtis also has a wonderful way of keeping a connection with the bride and groom through his kindness and sense of humor. |
