Nordmann Photography is a unique company specializing in life photography. Starting their 18th year in business, Nordmann Photography is truly a family owned business. Lisa started her career in 1994 photographing high school sporting events. The business grew rapidly and in 1998 her son Paul took over the sports division, www.nordmannsports.com, giving Lisa the time and energy to dedicate herself to weddings and portraits. Another son, Timothy, was involved in photographing events and sports from the beginning and has since branched off into film making and started Nordmann Productions ten years ago. The business kept growing and in 2003 Lisa’s husband John joined the team as business manager and jack of all trades. So the shifting of roles continued when their youngest son Kevin joined the team and took over Nordmann Sports as Paul became the lead wedding photographer. Lisa just received her Profession Photographer of America’s Certification. The Certified Professional Photographer(CCP) program is recognized throughout the industry as a mark of excellence. Certification assures others of a photographer’s knowledge, experience and continuance to develop new skills and techniques. It is a declaration of your professional competence! Her senior photos have won several merits and awards. As a wedding photographer Lisa’s images were featured in St. Louis Bride Magazine, St. Louis Best Bridal, Seasons, Uptown, St. Louis Bride and Groom and The Knot.

Paul Nordmann has been part of the family business for over ten years. He is the lead wedding photographer and the oldest son of Lisa and John. Paul has a unique style that was developed through his many years as a sports photographer. Paul recently graduated from the Hallmark Institute of Photography -- number one in his class of 220 students! He also received the prestigious Mamiya Award of Excellence given to the student with the best overall portfolio. Paul’s laid-back personality, unobtrusive manner, and artistic eye are a true benefit to any wedding.

Kurtis Hall has been photographing for Nordmann Photography for over two years and has quickly become one of the family. Kurtis has a hunger for photography and a thirst for the unusual. He has a keen sense of lighting that keeps his photography on the cutting edge. He has been a true asset to Nordmann Photography and has brought a new vision to our wedding photography. Kurtis also has a wonderful way of keeping a connection with the bride and groom through his kindness and sense of humor. Kurtis recently became an award winning photographer with the Missouri PPA with 2 of his wedding images.
