Timothy and Becky’s Wedding

Last Saturday, March 17th, my son Timothy and Becky Winka got married. We had been looking forward to this special day for a very long time. Becky is a fantastic person and fits perfectly into our family.

We started off the festivities with the Rehearsal Dinner at Maggie’s Lunch Box. Maggies is located in the heart of Fenton’s industrial and business center.  This adorable cafe/bakery outdid themselves on the food.  The food was absolutely delicious.  We played an adorable slide show of Timothy and Becky growing up that always brings tears to a mom’s eyes.

Saturday the skies opened up and let loose with a ferocious rain storm. I have not seen rain like that in a long time. I knew right away that our wedding photographer, Susan Jackson, would not be able to take the wedding party anywhere for outdoor photos. So off to Andre’s West everyone headed for indoor photos. We were very pleased with Susan. Not only is she a fantastic photographer but she is also a good friend. She was so kind and nice to everyone and a trooper for putting up with all the Nordmanns.

Andre’s West was very accommodating. The reception hall was beautiful. And Becky’s table decorations added a nice personal touch. The hostess of the evening was very gratuitous and helpful.  And you can always count on Andre’s for a good meal.  My husband John was Timothy’s best man and outdid himself with a beautiful toast to the bride and groom.

Millenium Productions was the DJ service for the evening. The music was terrific and was enjoyed by everyone.  The dance floor was always filled with guests partying the night away.  I will say that my grandson Cameron was the best dancer of the evening.

Nordmann Productions was the videographer.  That is Timothy’s videography company specializing in weddings, corporate and sporting events. Phil Betts was the videographer, filling in for Timothy who was busy getting married.  Phil was so kind to be around and was very unobtrusive.  We appreciated that he did not use any blaring lights.  We haven’t seen the video yet but I know it will be amazing.

If you are interested in viewing all of the images of the evening go Nordmann Photography’s web site. Go to Client Log In and the Event is Nordmann and the password is BT. I am warning you there are a lot of photos to view. Here are a few of my favorites.

My Three Sons

I am a very proud mother of three amazing sons. I have been the owner/photographer of Nordmann Photography for 19 years. At one time or another each son was an integral part of my company. But as we grow and grow up things change and as a parent, don’t we raise our children to leave the nest? All three have become successful businessmen in their own creative field.

My oldest son Paul worked as a sports photographer for me and branched off and created Nordmann Sports Photography. He was top in his field of sports and soon saw that he wanted to learn more about photography and attended Hallmark Institute of Photography. He graduated #1 in his class and received the coveted Mamiya Award of Excellence. He did come back to the nest to be a wedding photographer. But soon flew away to be one of the top commercial photographers in St. Louis. He travels the country and world. Check Paul’s portfolio out at Paul Nordmann.com.

My middle son Timothy is the owner of Nordmann Productions and is one of the best videographers in St. Louis. In his teenage years, Timothy accompanied me on many of my photo shoots as a sports photographer early in my career. He worked for the Suburban Journals and St. Louis Post Dispatch as a free lance photographer. But he soon found his love as a cinematographer. He specializes in recruiting tapes for high school athletes, corporate events and weddings. Check out one of his latest videos of Jennifer and Thomas’ engagement story.

My youngest son Kevin is now the owner and photographer for Nordmann Sports. He took over the sports division several years ago and grew it into a very successful business. His sports photography can truly be called an art form. He is so talented in capturing an athlete at the peak of the action and creating a lifetime memory. One of Kevin’s best attributes is his customer service. He goes the extra mile to make every customer feel extremely special.

I am one lucky mom to have such talented sons. I am extremely proud of each of my sons accomplishments. And I thank God every day for having these 3 amazing men in my life.

I am so excited about our Class of 2012 Senior Pictures St. Louis.  We accomplished many goals this past year with finding new locations to photograph at, new lighting techniques and new products to offer.  Here are a few of our favorite Senior Pictures St. Louis from the Class of 2012. Check out our senior galleries on our www.nordmannphoto.com web site.

Our first image is of Darci Roberts from Whitfield at our favorite location in Forest Park, St. Louis.

We had so many great senior sessions at our Bluffs Location. Here is Emily Wunch from Webster Groves High School in our pool.

Our most chosen feature in our Garden Session this past senior season was our brand new waterfall in our brand new garden. This is Lauren Cooper from Marquette.

One of our seniors favorite backgrounds in our indoor studio was the silver ceiling tiles. Chandler Truelove from Parkway North loved this photo of her and her music.

One of my favorite senior photos is from our Bluffs locations. Here is Becca Green from Cor Jesu dancing on our dock.
